Fair enough. Perhaps you heard incorrectly. Maybe the guys in the video were exaggerating about how inexpensive it is. But 3000 is only 100 bucks back home. Some high end escorts demand 10000 to 15000 baht (300 to 500 bucks) but they are few and far between.

Your spot on when you say 1 dollar is way too low though. I shudder when I imagine what sexual services 30 baht would purchase. The words homeless, alcoholic, and public toilet come to mind.
