The STD parts is very important but at the same time anybody who is sexually active whether its for porn or for escorting should always practice safe sex unless you are in a committed monogamous relationship..

I hope you are not saying that Transsexuals can only pose nude for a camera and hook on the weekends because no one else will hire them. If that's the case, then why would anyone become a TG if they can only do 2 very adult thing to make money? GG girls and gays also fall under that discrimination category. As you said, "It is NOT illegal to discriminate against gender". You said gender and not just Transsexuals. But the attitudes are changing.

I have recently found TG's in my area that lead regular lives with normal jobs, and have never considered the adult industry.
One is a bartender, another is a legal secratary for a law firm, one is a licensed real estate agent and doing very well at it, one is a retail sales manager of a big department store chain, another is a clerk at a local hospital, one is a pharmacist for Rite-Aid, ....the first TG girlfriend I ever had was the head of accounting in an Import-Export warehouse I worked at, .......the list goes on and on and on. And all of their employers know who and what they are.

I know there is still prejudice out there for TG's and we all agree it's wrong. But it's not that bad these days, and getting better. Our society has become more accepting of different lifestyles as younger generations become the new adult employers.

Most TG's work in the adult industry because there is lots of money in it, and they like doing it. And I say good for them, and wish them all the best. There is nothing wrong with working in the adult industry. I think prostitution should be legalized everywhere. It would certainly make the business safer and more profitable. But in todays world, the adult industry is A choice, but clearly not the only choice for Transsexuals.

simply put escorting is miles ahead of porn interm of money to be made ..that is why so many TS models escort as well..

as to legal rights , well that is subjective on what country you are from ,, in UK and some of EU escorting is legal and carries same rights as any other self employed worker..

As to safety of seeing clients etc , most escorts i know only do incalls so the client comes to them, and most girls i know dont live alone anyway ...safety in numbers etc.

Pornstars are not required to have STD tests as in its not enforced 100% unless hardcore/bareback scenes (and that is usually down to model. if your shooting a hardcore scene and its condom only some companies wont really be bothered) ..then if you have a model that only does Solo as many do they dont need a test for that ..though most TS models in usa/uk have tests monthly .. Now alot of serious escorts will have tests done monthly as they value their own health ..but yes in theory having sex with porn people is safer than escorting with johns .. problem is the tests are not failsafe and as many pornmodels are promiscous off camera do they really count for anything at all.. i.e i have a cert done its dated say 10th june, we shoot today 9 days later ..still in th time limit .but how do you know i havnt been out barebacking left right and centre in my own time during the period before? ..look at some of the HIV outbreaks in the inudstry, have been caused by a male model getting to excited in brazil on a holiday and bb fucking a streetwhore etc.

Problem is when a TS does a porn career/escort for a few years then tries to get a job in some industries they like and cant ...As an exampe if i wasnt working in the adult industry I would quite fancy working back in the Banking/Finance Sector doing Commodity trading or Forex trading etc as before ... problem is now when a large entitly like a bank/trading house does their due dilligence on me they will find out I had a porn career and that will cost me the work as they will deem it I would bring the company into illrepute .

Simple point being the simplest adultwork a TS person can do at anystate of their transition is Escort/WEbcam and Porn ..combined or just doing 2 of the 3 you will be making a nice bit of money ..
