Would it also be true to say that these days the "mainstream" is more open to accepting people who defy conventional gender labels?

The internet and the wide availability of porn have opened the doors, but the greater acceptance of gays within the general community suggest to me that similar acceptance of transgender people might not be too far away. In the media it's still at the novelty stage with the usual right-wing scare-stuff, but I sense that it goes a lot deeper on the street.

I have a fully-transitioned M2F friend who works as a lobbyist and campaigner for the LGBT community here in the UK and she reckons for the first time that the tide is ever so slowly turning in their favour.

There have TS Brazilian playmates in the Brazilian Playboy. The key is mainstream exposure. I'll say that the first TS that has a reality T.V. show, or is the focus of a scripted T.V. show or movie, will be a playmate. Yasmin was great in The Hangover 2, but I did not hear anything about her on mainstream entertainment shows, like E.T. or Access Hollywood, only on sites like HA. Also, doesn't Hef personally pick playmates? If so, then the TS that has the above named qualifications, as well as looks good to Hef, will be a playmate.
