It's all a matter of opinion. All those cities have plusses but all have negatives as well. So does Sydney

Sydney - Great Beaches, Magnificent Harbour, Iconic Architecture, Gay & Lesbian Mardi Gras, lots of sport, good clubs, pub culture, good restraurants etc.

In terms of fun - which was what was listed it has the mix of night and day activities which is hard to match in many of the cities you listed. Something like Sao Paulo is great at night but in the day is a huge sprawl of tall buildings. I wouldn't say Sydney is the funnest but it probably has the most varied and balanced fun options.

They are human beings and even poor human beings in a small desert community deserve to be treated with some respect. If you said the same thing about african americans in here you would be crucified and justifiably so.

New Zealand does not have droughts or extreme heat like Australia. All the beaches are within walking distance and some of the best ski fields in the world. The food in New Zealand is better with more taste

We all know the New Zealand is Australia's mini me.

It's like Germany and Austria, Spain and Portugal, USA and Canada. Mini me countries are so cute.

New Zealand wins tho, cos they have Hobbits.

i sort of agree with Anna but I think Australia is Americas 'Mini Me', their politicians have their heads shoved so far up americas arse they can't see where they're heading...disaster for all

New Zealand is sort of like Switzerland; independent, does things first, discovers things first, builds the quickest things first - worlds fastest indian motorcycle by Bert Munro, NZ said Fuck off to America regards Nuclear Power,

    look up

you can hear David Lange (the PM in the 1980s) telling an american journalist he can smell the uranium on his breath...makes me laugh and cry when i watch the ad

    another steinlager pure advert,

sums up new zealand pretty well, if only the politicians only walked the talk...

Your kidding right? nothing to do during the day in Sao Paulo? no beaches ,bars, sports, restaurants? No Pride parade? I guess Carnival just doesn't count either.

Is Australia still infected with people who believe its ok to shoot fellow human beings for sport? and to take children away from their families to be brought up by civilised white families or in children homes, with the aim of ensuring the indigenous people and culture would die out? That was similar to what hitler and the nazis did, who the Australians fought against and they were doing similar back home?

well, although it is unfortunate, racism is very alive and well in Australia. It is a far more racist country than America. Until only about 30-40 years ago, there was still active genocide against Aboriginal peoples.

That said, and not to be racist, Aboriginals haven't done a lot to help themselves with rampant drug problems and child molestation in their community. Of course, the horrors put upon them by white Australians hasn't helped this.
