I just got done seeing The Hangover part 2 and I'm sorry but I am very disappointed with Yasmine Lee. I am in no way trying to condemn or bash her but I feel she's done the trans community a huge disservice. Mainstream society is still very much uneducated on transgender women and there is so few transgender roles in the media and when we are portrayed its always in the "freak of nature" role....the audience screamed in horror when she flaunted her genitals. I understand its a comedy but there comes a time when you have to draw the line. Nobody is looking at her as a woman they saw her as a freak or "the man who topped stud....again this is not to bash but I feel let down by her choosing this role.

So you had to come and let us know your disappointment on a mainly PORN forum???

You think she should have turned down a role in one of the major blockbuster movies of the year...... A movie event that will eventually be seen by tens of millions of people across the planet. How in God's name would that have put transgender issues in a more positive light?

You really need to get a hold of yourself. Even though it was a small part, we're all thrilled with Yasmine's appearance in Hangover 2 and hope it leads to a very robust career in mainstream film.

I think your view on this is stupid. I know its just like when Ticked off Trannies with Knives came out... all the so called bigots went crazy over the title. Hey you know what all that attention over stupid nonsense got that movie a lot more attention. I think its great Yasmine took the role... would you tell Haley Barry she should of never took off her clothes for Monster Ball? She might of never won the Oscar... We are trans women, not freaks and some of us choose to keep what we have. Yasmin has no shame in that, as she does porn. I think it will open eyes to a lot of people who have no clue what a trans woman is. She looks like a woman, she just happens to be trans. A lot of people think all trans get their dicks cut off, and that is not true. I praise Yasmin and it has already got her roles in other movies. I think it was a great move and not bad for our community. She wasn't a drug addicted hooker on the street, like most roles that portray us.
