What is with the over use of the word "Like" these days? It must come from the 80s when the Valley Girl phenomenon took place. Unfortunately, 20 plus years later, it has become embedded in the American youth vernacular and beyond. It seems to be said every third word in a sentence and it drives me bonkers. I find that I don't even hear what the person is saying and am just observing the countless use of the word.

im actually cool with all that. to an extent... i dont buy gifts, ever... ill buy memories... like a taking a girl on vacation for the fourth of july weekend... that type of thing. but I wont buy her an expensive gift ever! no diamond bracelets for a birthday from me. but If we are out together then i plan on paying. actually, if i took a girl out and she insisted on paying for half then I would take as a sign that she didnt like me and I would probably just end it, take her home, and move on.

as for the slut double standard... thats BS. a guy fucking lots of people and girl fucking lots of people is SO DIFFERENT in so many ways, i cant even begin to explain... its much worse for girls to get around (i dont feel like defending why right now, but i am sure many of you will want an explanation to that a opinion...so ill do that later)
