My drug lingo must be outdated. I always thought a lid equaled one ounce. I buy an ounce at a time from the dispensary at between $275-300 depending on the strain. I go for the heaviest Indica available.

You're not outdated; the term 'lid' is outdated. Back in the 60's and 70's, a lid was the height of a finger along the bottom of a sandwich baggie. In other words, a little more than a dub sack. Two-finger and three-finger lids were just the height of two or three fingers across the bag.

Indica's the way to go. I usually only buy kush variants.

Smoking some Diesel Kush here in CT. I paid 60 bucks for an eighth.

Damn, man. Good smoke must be hard to come by in Connecticut. I've never paid more than $40 for an 8th, even if it was some serious fire. That's part of the reason I moved back to Oregon from New Jersey. I was dropping $30 - $40 for a dub and getting heavy stem weight and low-density bud. Not worth it.

I dig some good smoke and I get some of the best around. I'm not trying to compete with some of the stuffs coming out of Cali, but it's still some pretty respectable smoke. Lately it's been a lot of kush and it's variants, so mostly indica.
