Quite common during my HS head days along with nitrous. Both were a cheap and legal buzz back then. It was a street legal and less potent version of Amyl Nitrate which is almost the same thing chemically that old folks used to sniff in little glass and fabric ampules that they would crush for angina/chest pain b4 nitroglycerin tablets were common. If the Feds haven't classified the stuff as dangerous in almost 50 years and controlled or restricted it's sale, that itself should tell you something. The stuff in no big deal. You just get a temporary light headedness with a skin flush.
