I came across this article putting the radiation emissions of the Japanese power plant in perspective. I was pleasantly surprised to see the author is transgendered with a surname of Brain.

shes not the only one. I knew a older ts woman that worked for ucla? I believe? or UCSB? I can't remember. Anyways...she was a rocket scientist and changed policy at her school regarding transgender medical coverage. When I was transitioning, one of my best friends was a doctor. I know lots of ts women who are in upper levels of IT. I know of a TS woman who works at NASA. We are everywhere, you just don't know it : )
