I think most of the footage in that video is from Meet Your Meat. A video created by PETA to show people how we get our food. What they show people doing is terrible but you have to look at their reasons for showing this. PETA is actually a fairly radical group with some crazy ideals.

Now, I sympathize and agree with the point-of-view that the meat production industry is sickeningly inhumane. But since I don't have the time to hunt, and since I don't have the money to buy "organic" humanely-produced meat, and most importantly because I love the taste of meat and gristle...I kinda gotta agree with the turkey below:



Now when we start producing cloned or vat-grown meat with no real nervous system, and thus no way to feel torment and anguish, then I'll happily switch over to that. But today, I think I'm about to order some barbecue ribs and link sandwiches.
