Re: Goodhandys???
Hold on a sec. New York has over 8 million souls. Whereas Toronto has slightly over 2 million souls.

Re: Goodhandys???
GTA is def like a smaller, cleaner, and friendlier version of NYC.

HAHA! Yeah man u shoulda checked out there website! I dont think all weekends has tgirls. I know thursdays the night to go, not too certain about weekends.
I haven't been there yet because I've had border issues back in the day with shitty canada, nothing serious but alot of dumb stupidity on there side, so I'd be surprise if they let me in unless I have a work visa for them, which already expired. I only live like 2hrs away from toronto, and last thing I want is to drive a hour up to the border just to get turned right back around

Re: Goodhandys???
Border issues happen on both sides. It's not so much the law and rules but the people who enforce the law and rules. Get someone on the border who woke up on the wrong side of the bed, had a fight with their spouse, didn't get laid, not enough coffee, whatever the cause and they can make your trip miserable. I was turned away from the US once because I had a dead computer power supply in my trunk. Border nazi said I was trying to illegally import computer components!

Re: Goodhandys???
Disagree - Ustinov was probably feeling overly hyperbolic when he said it...that or he was doing a show in Toronto and didn't want to get shunned.
The culture in Toronto is one of inclusiveness. Little to no overtly rude or racist behaviour so unlike NYC. NYC is better planned - traffic in Toronto is horrendous. Torontonians have a tendency to be uptight and saying something negative about the city will cause them to proclaim all kinds of bullshit to show just how important the city is to life on the planet Earth. NYC has a real theatre district - Toronto has a handful of big theatres. Nightclubs here are mostly dull and unimaginative. There is a good music scene but mostly for rock or alternative - little hip hop or reggae or blues so doesn't compare to NYC. People live in the downtown core of Toronto - large amounts of people!
I could go on......I suspect the original rumour about Toronto being comparable to NYC was started by a Torontonian looking for publicity.
