Just for the record, the Tea Party USED to be made up of tax activists and small government proponents. All of this culture war shit only came when Beck and Palin, disguised as Tea Partiers, came into the picture to usurp the movement and steer it back towards the classical brand of Republican hate mongering. That was NEVER the intention of the original Tea Partiers. I even used to consider myself one before the hostile takeover.
