I can see where Kelly is trying to say. I don't think it's gross to acknowledge teenagers can be attractive Kelly. Without wishing to appear immodest I was certainly both attractive and sexually active from sixteen to eighteen. As an adult knowing someone is sixteen or indeed younger in general is a huge turnoff for me but it would be churlish, I feel to suggest, that the idea such people could be aesthetically appealing is gross.

What is deeply unpleasant is the sexualisation of children and the inability of some to respect the law. Physically attractive or not is irrelevant the line has to be drawn somewhere to protect children, whether that is eighteen, sixteen or fourteen.
