When I was in high school, me and a couple of friends of mine used to pretend we were The Fabulous Freebirds. I was the Terry Gordy of the group. I was big and fat and fought all the time. There was a little loudmouth troublemaker friend in the group that was our Buddy Jack Roberts. When he got in over his head, I'd always run in and make the save. The Michael Hayes of our group had the good drug connections and had a fake ID to buy booze. This one new kid approached us wanting to join up. He said, "I could be Jimmy Garvin!" I stepped up giving him a bear swat across the top of his head and yelled, "Jimmy Garvin ain't no dad gum Freebird!" There were these dumb Polish kids we ofter beat up that were our Von Erichs.

He had the strut down but the moonwalk needed a lot of work. Hayes was a complex and difficult guy to play. As Bam Bam, all I had to do was drink and fight which I was doing a lot of anyway. It was always fun putting the Oriental Spike on kids when they didn't see me coming.
