I Quit!!!
So today I get in my last argument with upper management and I tendered my resignation effective immediately...I was going to storm off 2 months ago, but I really tried to stick it out until after Christmas..../shrug.
That may not have been the smartest thing in the world to do considering the economy, but right now I feel like celebrating!!!!
On another note, is anyone looking for someone thats very talented with a variety of skills??? I can send a resume if so!!! Im looking for a change, and Im willing to relocate! Send me a PM if interested...

Well maybe not the best thing in the world to do without a backup plan.
Good luck though and congrats on following your convictions.
What kinda work do you do? What was the argument about?

I think you need to give a good description of your skills and where you think they can best be utilized. And I would advise against 'broadcasting' the way youd decided to end your relationship with your employer - it would definitely cast doubt on your judgment (in certain quarters).
Finally, you just may have what it takes to go out on your own. That way your boss will always love you and yout worker will break his back for you too.

Heya Vicki...the arguments always been about company policy and a pervasive corporate attitude of focusing on minutiae instead of making money and the big picture. Its been boiling for the last 4 months or so, but it really started the first month I was hired.

Oh no you misunderstand...I want people to know exactly why I left, heh. Im not going to roll over for another employer again, thats for sure. You may not like me, or what I have to say when you ask me for my opinion, but Ill get the job done....Im not working for anyone who wants a syncophant.
I manage companies/facilities. Lately its been apartments and storage facilities, but I did a stint as a retail manager, a call center manager and even a construction foreman way back in the day lol.....Ive been in middle management a long time, heh. With my skill set though, I can do management in almost any field.

Ok. Fair enough. Given the rise in call centers - I know you have a ready market in need of your skill set. More so if you are available for relocation.
