    Thumbs up Cost

As a male participating in this forum, I was thinking that it must cost a fortune in medical and cosmetic surgeries and treatments and medications and just everything to look at beautiful as most of the Transsexual women look.

In the same vein, it also cost a bundle for any l women to maintain their appearance who are in the entertainment business, whether it is actresses, TV,models, porn, etc.

But for those wonderful, beautiful TS women who do so much to look wonderful for all of us, I wonder how much the costs must be and where the heck might the money come from ? Do any studios, etc, help with the finances ??

Oh yes, I am just adding some random photos to make this post more interesting.

Look, it all depends on WHEN someone transitions. If someone transitions prior to and does not go through a male puberty, little, if any, surgery is typically necessary (besides SRS). These girls below seems to have all started HRT at an early enough age to do it (for example):

    Raphaella Marques

    Ashlgurl (cam4)

    Ellery (Scotland)

But, very few people are supported at that point in life, even today, so a substantial amount of work is required to undo every single day male hormones affect their bodies. And, if decades pass, it's a lot more work.

As far as I'm aware, no one helps the girls with ANYTHING. The studios don't. Insurance doesn't. Most families don't. It's all on them. Support is nonexistant for most girls in 2011 in the US (please correct me if I'm wrong). I do know in places like Spain and England, it's fully covered by national healthcare.

Also, I would suggest editing the title of the thread to something like "the cost of transitioning". No one really 'becomes a tranny.' All girls are what they are from the start, and some need to transition to set things physically right.

I would think that for more than a few of the girls the cost of transitioning represents a very profitable investment.

Nowhere is right, i think at 12 (not sure) you can get anti testeron pills, and at 16 (in holland) you get your female hormones, and 18 your legal to do the SRS, which the results will be a almost flawless female look and shape.

Regarding costs, I think hormones can be paid by insurance, laserhair removal on the face only with a letter from the therapist or the people in the genderteam. SRS is a bit tricky, in holland it used to be covered, but i saw it on the news 2 days ago, that a certain group in the goverment was debating to give them a full cover because of how small the amount of TG's are in holland. And all the other people were against it at that time they were on the subject a few months ago? Anyways, this is all biased on what i know from in my country
