    That goes beyond political parties

    HOWEVER

Republicans are always the ones(married and religious of course) getting caught in gay acts like cruising public toilets, fucking their male staff, hiring male escorts, looking for gay sex online..this all of course while supporting the mainly anti gay Republican agenda.

What about the Log Cabin Republicans?

My only comment on this is that at least he had the decency to resign after being caught. How many others didn't after their scandals came to light?

"Do you remember V. P. Dick Cheney "
'YES, I DO. I use to call him 'TAINT'.
"Taint? Why did you call him that?"
'Because in every picture he was between Bush and Colin'

must be a slow news day

I suppose, if you consider a story about a US Congressman (married with a wife and family) who ran on a family values platform, getting caught trying to pick up chicks on Craigslist as less than newsworthy. It's not about a guy trying to laid; it's about hypocrisy. Republicans like to persecute people with alternative lifestyles while doing the same behind closed doors. It wouldn't be an issue if he wasn't such a hypocrite.

Not sure about how he campaigned , but this much is true..

Republican...... Hyprocracy won him a trip home

Democrat.... Not paying your share of taxes and being found guilty of serious ethics violations makes you a bit of a folk hero and still gainfully employed on my dime ! Ask Wessley Snipes about Hypocracy ! LOL

    PRICELESS FAIL.

You know, why does this even matter? Politicians are dirty and scummy. This should be expected. Besides, what does this have to do with his job? I don't get it.

Classic scandal, and I personally think it's dumb to cruise CL -- too much risk and way too inefficient to meet the kind of person I'd like to meet.

Is it hypocrisy ? Formally, yes, but I think we all live with contradictions within ourselves. With few exceptions, everyone tells lies, has dark secrets, or did something in their past they'd be ashamed to reveal publicly. Nowadays there are too many news outlets, so they compete for attention by dredging up dirt on anyone newsworthy.

I don't think he should resign just for adultry. It's between him and his wife. But I see I'm in the minority on this.

As someone commented on the news link, hypocrisy deserves to be exposed.

I love it when these "clean I'm-better-and-holier-than-you" politicians and priests get caught doing stuff like this.
