I've come to notice as of late that many girls within the last year have retired from the porn industry and/or opted for SRS which either way is fine, nobody should be a sex slave to the business or the almighty dollar.

However I'm curious to learn what is it exactly that is driving so many girls away from the business?

A lot of girls who retire find love.... like Britney Markham... some girls cant deal with it, it can take an emotional toll on some. And from what I have been told from friends its not a business ur going to get rich off of unless ur a big time star. So some leave because the money is not worth it. But its going down in last few yrs due to torrent sites and economy. So the studios/producers can't offer the pay they used to.

lots of girls have this idea that they can move to california or vegas or something and they are going to be a huge hit and make cash, when its really not the case and a lot of them give up or get sick of being taken advantage of by companies who are always trying to low ball us and put us against each other.

the only girls who stick around are the ones who are either making good money off porn(few) or the girls who really like to make porn/have sex

Many reasons:
Porn is free on the Internet, s who is really paying for porn and pornstars
Nobody is getting younger, but there are always younger girls ready to push out the veterans.

Often girls who do porn do not escort and escorts do not porn, but I think it will change. Porn stars does not earn enough today, but once she gets famous men will pay a lot more for the famous escort that for other pretty escorts.
