Look, if you're talking the entirely legal aspect of it for a pre-op transgender woman and a man, it's going to be relatively rare, because you need to have the laws in place recognizing a trans woman as a woman without SRS, and that's only present in a handful of countries like Spain and Argentina.

There are quite a few married post-op trans women, but I think there are a lot less than what could be, since it's outright insulting to a trans woman to have to marry a man under a 'gay' marriage law, since that's a man and a man, and denying her ability to be recognized as a woman. But, either way, many of those girls are in stealth, like Nikki Araguz, since prejudice seems to be even worse for married trans women than unmarried, so we'll never really know how many.

That may be so but it's also likely that, unless they are in a same-sex marriage state, that fraud was involved, which is fine, as long as the man in the relationship or a family member doesn't want to challenge the validity of the marriage later on down the road. If that happens, your friends will likely get nothing in the event of divorce or death. Sad but true.
