The relevant fact is that Senators Ensign and Craig, and Governor Sanford, were married at the time of their "indiscretions", and therefore fair game for my criticism in response to the O.P.

Of course, Allen and Ashburn were unmarried, single homosexuals like yourself. So I can understand you going to bat for these two sleezeballs. But keep in mind that Allen was convicted of a crime related to his "indiscretion" and voluntarily resigned from office, while Ashburn subsequently admitted to being gay. And both had campaigned for anti-gay legislation, making them fair game in response to the O.P., as both lacked "fidelity" to themselves.

You're right that a number of Democrats have been disgraced by "indiscretions" while in office, but it's too much for you to bag on fellow homosexuals Frank, Massa and McGreevey to make a partisan point...
