Ah, okay. So does this mean that the hetro-sexual attendants, gay male attendants, and lesbian attendants will get their own separate badges thus identifying who they are? And what about the pilot and first officer?

And sorry, but this sounds a lot like Nazi Germany when they made Jews wear Star-of-David symbols on their clothes.

It is good to see Thailand (and note it is NOT the USA) taking a step forward for transgender women, but come on. If a person is qualified regardless of the adjective before their gender, why not just let them wear the standard uniform and badge, and tell them just do your job to the best of your ability.

The Thais love uniforms. And they love their hierarchical social structure (Sandika). And most Thais have no idea about anything that has ever happened outside of Thailand.

Check this out. A whole school went through with a nazi-parade on school grounds on the whole premise that "oh, well Thai people don't know that the Nazis did all those terrible things".

The badge is wrong but comparing it to Nazi Germany is just plain crazy. They in no way face what the Jews did and are not being led to slaughter by the millions. So they have a special tag, who cares they are also getting a job and an opportunity that some of them can only dream of.
