Seems like there is progress for the Girls everywhere but here in the US and the middle east. Smart move on PC Air's part. Now to find the lay over hotels.

My first wife was a flight attendant with National out of Miami, known for the Orange Hot Pant uniforms, with white boots. Back then, there were a number of conditions a female had to meet in order to be hired, mostly having to do with looks and age. In fact, it was considered a short term job as some airlines had an age when the FA had to retire. Laws change and unions were strong, so many of the American carriers, especially Delta and United have many FA's that flew with the Wright Brothers and thus are a bit "long in the tooth".

Hmmm if men, women and transsexuals in the airline are all providing the same service, I don't see the point of identifying the transwomen.

I know for a fact that there are transgender FA on the major US airlines. A friend of mine works for one now and was employed by another in the past. This friend tells me about the other transgender employees they have encountered on both jobs.
