In fact, you'll find it's usually the guys who don't contribute a whole lot or haven't been around very long who throw these kind of picky, opinionated bitch-fits.

I think you're drawing conclusions, though. Just because a dude's interested enough to sign up for HA doesn't mean the dude's some kind of cheating cockhound. I've been around since 2005, in and out of relationships ever since, and I've never cheated or tried to hide my interests.
