Tunisia president run away to Saudia Arabia

Ex President Ben Ali and his Wife Leila Trabelsi left Tunisia to Saudia Arabia last night.

Hopefully more rights for gays, lesbians and transsexuals in Tunisia soon

Let's hope that there will soon be more rights and democracy for everybody in Tunisia now. What concerns me is that the Islamic fundamentalists are going to try their damnedest to jump in and take control, and everything must be done to avoid that. I hope that for once the European Union will make itself useful and give Tunisia a helping hand towards ensuring a peaceful transition to full democracy. Because if the radicals take control, then the whole of the Maghreb is going to go to pot: Tunisia has always been a reference in that part of the world.
