is it OK not to vote on a potential Daryl ban?

So, being new and trying not to piss anyone off, I face a dilemma: vote on the Daryl ban or not?

I don't know much about him, have only a month's exposure to the back and forth between he and those he has angered, and I sure as heck can't know the whole story or what goes on offline.

I have nothing but love. Yet I see the whole situation as a threat to this community and that bothers me ( though I'm not really a part off it yet.). And even Jesus is coming back with a sword in his hand the next time around- forget turning the other cheek, it will be a "slay them where they stand and f*ck them where they fall" kind of thing. ( Not being religious, I'm not even Christian- it's just a metaphor.)

There is the free speech, "it's only the internet" thing to balance against the potential real world issues and the fact that without the girls none of us would be here- do we really want HA diminished in any way?

So I ask the following: do you think it's OK not to vote one way or the other? Judging by the poll numbers a lot of folks are abstaining

The ban is based on his behavior towards certain individuals as opposed to his general BS. If you look through some of the last few weeks worth of posts you will find where he has been trying very hard to convince someone who obviously is not interested into having sexual relations with him. Now we find he has followed her from here to other places on the net and is continuing to harass her. That is an unacceptable escalation of his behavior and we should not stand for it. This is not funny stuff and to treat it as such is dangerous. This situation is getting out of hand and we should not allow such a person to continue to harass our ladies on here.

I did not come here to interact with a bunch of guys; I've done that enough in my life. I'm here for the ladies and interesting conversations with them. I've seen enough crap on here from ignorant guys like Daryl and some of the others. I would not ban Daryl for anything he has said on here, but I will not stand for him to go outside of here and harass any of our ladies.
