I want a removable internal HD drive that's as convenient to automatically load and remove as a CD ROM.
If that level of hardware technology is available, I don't know about it, which is quite possible!

You can get adapters that plug in via USB that do all that stuff. Go look on newegg.

They're not too expensive. But then you got to smuggle in a whole hard drive full of porn.

No prob. next time you buy or build a PC..get a server case instead and a server Mobo...you can hot swap to your hearts delight for little more cost of an equivalent PC.

....and actually many laptops have hot swap HDD's....no biggie. Phuck, micro SD cards are so small you could easily incorporate them into friggin' earrings for gods sake. You can put DSL LINIX on them and have a whole OS on there. Not sure if any are bootable as of yet... but I'm sure there's a hack for that too.

Notice that PGP is "nearly" unbreakable.

It "just" takes a few years to break the encryption.

Hell, you can get an electron microscope and ray trace the surface of a HDD....getting down to the binary code that is magnetically arranged on the surface

Then you have the encrypted date, same as when you just read the HD? Still takes a few years to decrypt.

Yeah I believe you can boot from the SD cards. I know of other small linux distro's that you can boot from the SD card.
