We're All Just Chasers.
The term "chaser" has changed a lot since 2005. I remember back when it could be interchanged with the word "creeper" and was usually used to describe a dude with way too much motivation to sleep with whatever piece of transgender ass he could. There wasn't a quirky nickname to describe guys who weren't trying to play power-bottom to an escort on the cheap. Amazingly, we were just considered normal back then.
The word chaser has taken on a different definition since. It's first transformation applied to any dude trying to get a lower suggested donation price. Suddenly, any guy who had short bucks was a chaser. Unfortunately, when some prideful and hopeless yutz started rambling on about similarities and feelings then admitted he worked at Subway, his wallet determined him a chaser. No big thing, though. The rest of us weren't the type to profess an undying love to anybody over the internet.
Now, it's as though the term means nothing. It's a low-blow insult used to suggest a dude is annoying, pushing his boundaries, ugly, short, fat, bald, smelly, poor, talks about other people too much, starts drama... I mean, I could keep going here. Instead of being interchangeable with the word "creeper", a chaser is now interchangeable with a generic insult like "moron" or "fugly". The whole ordeal plays out like a game of "pin the tail on the donkey". Once a chick throws down the "chaser" flag, everybody else just assumes the accused a creepy, introverted little slag.
I'm not trying to say I'm the only one without issues around here. Trust me, I have issues too. I'm not pointing the finger at anybody. Personally, I don't think there are too many chasers posting around here. I'd just rather a word mean something and get applied accordingly or be thrown out.
So, what effectively separates the creepers from guys who don't go out of their way and don't obsess? Is it really just an empty insult now? I mean, is it even believable that a dude and transsexual can just have regular conversation without things quickly turning to sex or getting creepy?

Personally I don't give a fuck if I'm considered a "chaser"...just be happy you're being chased in the first place...
William Escalade is no more. He's done his service to the site.

You make some good points. I usually look to Urban Dictionary for how a term is being viewed in the popular culture:

Chasers are jokes. The dudes you see at events with their hands in their pockets lurking. All the girls avoid them
