UKIP came second in the last uk euro elections.Farage is an elected member of the european parliament and president of the freedom and democracy group of that parliament.He has a german wife, hardly a bigot or little englander. Farge is only seen as an asshole by those who are clinging to the failing idea of a european superstate, in fact a large number of people have a huge affection for nigel farage. He is an excellent speaker, and too me one of the few genuine people in politics.He left a very lucrative career in banking because he was disgusted by the idea of Britain losing it's freedoms to the EU. He brought the UKIP from it's days when it held meets in pubs,where his negativity about europe being widely seen as essentric to where it is today.

He knows UKIP will never form a government in this country,he doesn't have aspirations to be prime minister but there is more than one way to skin a cat. He is now winning many friends across the atlantic with our american cousins, many powerful friends, and also even more crucially he is becoming more popular within europe not with the the euro politicians and unelected bureacrats obviously but with it's ordinary people,you know the germans the french , the dutch, who want their national identities back and are listening now.

He wants to see a europe of friends,but with their own nations who trade and have alliances but crucially are free. What is so wrong with that?

Correct. Thats why the BBC and the political establishment dislike him and will do everything they can to have him seem as some loud mouth british yobbo with eccentric views. They even compare him to the British nationalist party, which if you compare their manifesto to the UKIP's is very different. The UKIP is essentially a thatcherite conservative party that wants the uk to leave the EU,but isn't anti european,to prove he's not anti european and isn't some little englander you just have to see how he and his party cooperate with political movements in germany and others that are now increasingly wanting their own currency and independence back . The BNP, is a racist party with socialist leanings.

Increasingly people just aren't buying the lies and misinformation told about farge and ukip anymore. Fact is ,he can be over the top at times,but his heart is in the right place.
