Why would racial profiling at airports fail?
Because terrorists will recruit other races.
The main mistake people who think this way make is thinking we are fighting a certain people. We aren't. We are fighting an idea and ideas have no race. They take hold of people's brain not race.

Advocates of racial profiling think profiling Arabs is the answer. They think Arab men will all like:

But they forget that Muslims around the World are from different races and ethnicity.

This is a Bosnian Muslim girl: she looks white to me.



Most lebanese people look white. Half of them are Muslims and Shiite.

You make a good point. Racial profiling would not work, however (not that I'm in favor of any kind of profiling, after all, people should be treated as innocent until proven guilty) if someone is serious about profiling possible terrorists, they should try religious profiling.

Exactly. Profiling is not based on race. That is a sad misconception. Since Israelis started profiling there has not been a terrorist attack at Ben Gurion airport... no one got in even as suicide bombing idiots were exploding daily in Israel.

Abumuttalab could have been caught had he been profiled without considering race at all... no return ticket on an international flight and no luggage.

Racial Profiling seems like a great idea at first that would save time and inconvenience to certain flyers. But like the original poster mentioned, Muslims can be any race and resemble any ethnic group. Adam Gadahn was born Adam Pearlman. Pearlman is a Jew name. I'm a Russian Christian but some might think I'm a Bosnian Muslim.

This lady seems like she's ready for a thorough search.
