Immediate family knows, but they're having a hard time dealing (my family is very religious too). My ex-wife knew from before we were married. Some close friends know too, and I never really tried to hide it from the outside world. In the past I was conflicted and confused, but never ashamed.

For me it's a total secret. Though i think if i were a wiser person i would just be open about it and what the hell probably be a happier man in the end. In a sense i envy those who are fully open about it just because of the notion of freedom and peace that supposedly comes with being "honest" to the world, but at this point in my life and all things considered, i'd say it's not worth it to tell people about it, so it'll remain a secret until further notice.
