"Pretty", "beautiful", "gorgeous" etc. express subjective judgments which say as much about the judge as the judged. These words describe the impact someone's appearance has on your psyche. "Passable" is largely objective: a woman is passable provided she in fact passes under normal circumstances. So of course "pretty" and "passable" are not the same. "Pretty" and "pretty" are not even the same, from judge to judge or even sometimes for the same judge from day to day. So what's the big deal? If some dude thinks all black transgendered women are ugly, that just means that dude has issues.

I think that you have a total passable look. I would not call you plain at all. You have a unique look, and yes, unique is good.
