Grim's Photoshop Request Thread
Why?
I'm bored, and lately I haven't been mucking around with photoshop like I used to. I've been too wrapped up in my work and social life to find the time, but now that things are beginning to settle down, I need to stop hitting the bar so much to de-stress and focus a little more on my hobbies.
When?
You can submit a request any time by posting here or sending me a private message. I can't always get around to your project right away. Sometimes there will be a one or two day downtime while I try to free myself up a bit. Even if you have what you consider to be a one hour project, I may have several projects to get done first or a few jam-packed days at work. Just be patient. If your project has a due date, I can't promise anything.
What?
Avatars and signature pics, I'd suppose. I can also do airbrushing, color and light adjustment, photo manipulation, web design, interface design, color theory, background replacements, text effects, and so on. If you're unsure about my abilities, just ask. I have examples.
Requirements.
-Know what you want.
There are very few projects I'll take without artistic recommendation. While I like being creative, I've tackled plenty of projects in the past where I've been asked to "do whatever you want". Most of them get picked apart after completion. I don't mind tweaking things, but I don't want to do the same project from scratch twice. If you're going to be ballsy enough to let me do my own thing, don't complain about the result... just don't use it.
-Find your own source pics.
This is more a rule of thumb. I'll take projects even if I have to search through a slew of your pictures and pick out sources myself, but I'd rather not have to, especially for quick or small projects.
-Learn how to stand in line.
If I have three projects before yours and you want yours done today, you might not want to hold your breath. I'd sooner drop your project than put up with an inbox full of messages asking if I'm done yet.
-Copyright? Yikes.
Please do not hand me copyrighted pictures unless you are the owner of the copyright. That means I won't turn your enemy into a clown, I won't put your face on her pic-set, and I'm not going to build you a website with Lady Gaga's Bad Romance playing in the background.
Post your requests below or PM me!
