I'm sure the decision was motivated by financial considerations and not race. If he wasn't getting the viewers or ratings and ultimately bringing in the ad revenue then he had to go the way of the Jenny Jones Show.

If ratings were good, why would they cancel it? Money is the only real interest for networks. If they were racist, he wouldn't have had a chance in the first place.

Wow bringing up this thread after all these years. I dont even remember the show in general but if its anything like his color commentating on NBC for nba games and studio analyst for espn today then i can understand why it was cancelled.

thats why you do not see much attention to a lost African American child
but when it is a Caucasian kid it get the best coverage.

That show sucked. They had all kinds of great guests, & it didn't matter. They tried a facelift or 2 & different tweaks, & it didn't matter. The problem from night one was the gawd-awful host that the show was named for. If it wasn't for the terrific house band, it would have folded a lot earlier.
