    Default I built a monster...

I built a video editing work station today with my buddy Eric for my production company. Built for industry standard HD quality and lightening quick speed. Need a video editor? Our turn around time will make your head spin.

    1. Intel i7 950 Quadcore 3.06 ghz
    2. Gigabyte GA-X58A motherboard with SLI/Crossfire integration
    3. PNY Nvidia Quadro VCQ 4000

I can notice one error: the LG monitor.

I work in a LG call center, take it back to the shop and buy something with a good assistance service.

What ever happened to an old door on top of a table, flannel lined trash can, pair of winds, sync block, squawkbox, viewer, moviola for pacing(or shredding workprint) and splice block?

Now that was an editing bench. Throw in a wheel chair and it was magic waiting to happen.

Very nice, ill be rebuilding mine later this year

Planning on a true SLI asus mobo (x16,x16) with 2 MSI 1GB 460's in SLI, 4GB's of RAM, an AMD 965 Black Edition processor (plan to overclock it to about 3.7 or 3.8 , 23 in. Samsung 1080p monitor, in a Coolermaster HAF 932 full tower (just bought, this fucker is HUGE, 33lbs alone ) recycling my 650W Corsair PSU, and adding a 450W supplementary PSU for one of the 460's.

One hint for you though, zip ties are your friend for cable management lol
