DC BSDM scene.

In the last six months, I've been going to the local group and I've met a bunch of great people. Most everyone is ridiculously open-minded and unshockable, especially the peeps who've been on the scene for a while.

At events, there tends to be a wide a range of people, genders, kinks etc. I've found that most of the people on the BDSM are ridiculously, oddly intelligent (with a few exceptions, of course).

Anyways, I find it much more fun than the ubiquitous gay bars (with the 5%) tranny scene.

How many other people here have checked out the BDSM scene in their cities?

I lived near San Francisco for twenty years. It's got the largest and most open BDSM scene in the U.S., possibly the world. This weekend there is the annual Folsom Street Fair, the largest BDSM/leather/kink street fair in the world--well over 100,000 attend.

However, most large cities in the US are going to have fairly robust scenes these days.
