I hate to get on my soapbox and pontificate but honestly, the world already has enough ugliness to deal with. What kind of repressed hateful simpleton would willingly take away from us the life of someone who was obviously beloved by her friends and, unless I'm wrong, did nothing more than be honest and share her beauty with us all. We were lucky for a while until some fucking asshole took her from us. Thats all I have to say.

Indictment in 2010 Maplewood Transgender Murder

A 24-year-old Newark man, Alrashim Chamber, has been indicted in the September murder of Victoria Carmen White in Maplewood. White was a post-operative transgender female who had undergone sex reassignment surgery.

In addition to murder, Chamber was indicted on count of bias intimidation and two weapons offenses. Investigators believe the victim’s gender identification was a factor in her murder.

If convicted of the charges, Chamber faces life in prison. He will be arraigned on July 12.

The only people who are punished by this crime are Victoria, her family, friends and the taxpayers. As soon as these bastards enter prison, their standard of living rises. The perks they receive are way to numerous to list in one post. Wise up, for the vast amount of people in jail, a conviction simply means a change of address and a boat load of street cred. Life in prison....that is a dream come true. Instead of dying from violence or drugs before they are 35, they can live well into their 90's as wards of the State, on your dime. How do you feel about that?
