Vitor Belfort wants to fight James Toney in the octagon, but under boxing rules. I don't think Dana will let this happen, but it would be interesting to see. Vitor is great striker and fast too, but I don't think he could hang with Toney.

Belfort is set to face Okami to determine who will face the winner of Sonnen vs. Silva 2. Toney is going to defend his IBA title, so I don't think this match will happen anytime soon.

Probably so, but I imagine that Vitor will get in a couple of good shots and didn't he have a boxing career? He went from MMA to boxing, then back to MMA.

James Toney is one of the most used up and shot boxers in the sport.

this is why he is in UFC, he can't get a pay day in boxing.

whats the top paid guy in ufc, lesnar? and he gets 100k a fight, Floyd mayweather got 14 million for his last boxing match, and even up and comers like amir khan are on 1 million a fight, so the fact that toney cant get paid in boxing just shows you.

The last time he looked decent was nigh on 15 years ago, however i'd put money on him to beat any UFC athlete in a boxing match, just like i'd put money on nearly any ufc fighter to beat any boxer in a ufc match.
