Perhaps it should be seen as part of the cultural war against women that sees women being harassed, abused, raped and slashed to ribbons on tv every day, presumably because women are guilty of being the cause of all our woes. The mere idea that the company logo could be livingirl productions would not occur to anyone soaked in the relentless violence that preoccupies too many people in the film and television industry. Presumably batteredbaby or deadbaby productions just didn't seem right? I suggest deadbrain productions would be more appropriate.

Yeah. It was skullcandymedia.com for years but when my ex and I came up with that name I had no idea it was a designer headphone company. It was time for a change and this name just came out of the blue but fits perfectly with all the stuff I do for the musicians I work with, the kind of porn I produce, etc. It's dark, simple and and as a company name, completely abstract. Anyone I've worked for in post production, (editing and visual effects are my bread and butter) knows the quality of my work, my sense of humor and that for someone like me, a company name is almost entirely arbitrary. So why not go for something a little dark & murky? It's fun when it's fun. Everyone likes a haunted house ride every now and then.

And for those that complain about violence to women or whatever sissy nonsense they are griping about because of a string of letters... I'm a freaking woman. I doesn't offend me in the least and if it offends you... well, there you go. You get to be offended. It'll change nothing and I suppose that's the biggest sting of all. Powerless, empty complaining. Mating call of the weak, the spineless.
