Moving to Australia!!

I'm moving to Sydney, Australia in a year. I'm just wondering if anyone can help me with getting to know the ins and outs of living there. My main concern is the expense of living. I know its quite the difference from here in Newfoundland! Thanks in advance!

Be careful of where you live in sydney because the further west you go the rougher it gets.inner city or eastern or northern suburbs are safer,especially for a tgirl.

Just remember the most important thing, prostitution is legal in Australia and finding someone that suits your tastes is no more differcult that picking up the phone and ordering a pizza. Sorry, but it won't be free if it's not delivered in less than 30min.

Hahaha nice. And I know this is a weird thread for HA. But I figured what better place to ask for help?? Like I said though, my main concern is financial. I'm going down with a little over 10k, so im just wondering about renting an apartment and whatnot. I heard that rent is paid there every week, apposed to every month here.
