To me the biggest point of this article was not that a Bush advisor promoted an anti gay counstitional amendment, but was secretly gay. The most open part of this article is it openly admits that anti gay marriage election issues was a deliberate GOP strategy.

Just like abortion is always a GOP issue despite the fact that they never seem to be to interested to do anything about it.
