Portrayal of trannys in movies

Transsexuals seem to have been stereotyped badly in movies over the years. I’ve lost count of the thrillers that feature psychotic trannys or cross dressers - Silence Of The Lambs, Psycho, Dressed To Kill, Water Damage to name a few… while other movies like The Choirboys and even The Crying Game seem to be more interested in portraying them as perverts or emotionally retarded people. Isn’t it about time someone (Ang Lee?) made a movie that actually showed a transsexual as a human being? Even looking at that from a cynical point of view it could be a box office hit – look at how successful Brokeback was…

Sympathy was with 'trannies', played by top notch actors (Terence Stamp, John Lithgow, Hilary Swank).

A US studio is never going to do that (represent a transexual as 'normal'), too many retards who like sticking their cocks into the spines of bibles who will dictate otherwise and a law system which allows murder on transsexuals because of 'gay panic'.
