Jack Tatum, Oakland safety, RIP
Jack Tatum, defensive back for the Raiders died at age 61.
No one will ever know the emotional pain he lived with in the later years of his life. He and the player he crippled, wide receiver Darryl Stingley, never spoke after that famous hit in a 1978 pre-season game

Tatum was an asshat who only wanted to make amends with Stingley when he was promoting his book. Good riddance.
