I remember the Edelweiss days very well when was next to the Diner. I have watched those girls go from being a dragqueen to a tranny. I am still friends with alot of them. Some of the girls are still around and even come to my "Tranny Strip" party on Sundays. I arrived in NYC on a Greyhound bus from TEXAS (the day after high school graduation) 🚌 .
Was robbed at Port Authority and was directed to a homeless youth shelter .
I was a feminine presenting boy who met a trans girl who arrived in NYC as well (a month earlier) .
She and I became fast friends and she knew I needed money so she suggested I dress up and head down to the hoe stroll with her the next night .

Little did I know how this dank gritty looking bar would forever change my life 🌟 .
