I tend to assume that money grabbing is the cause and I think no one follows that paradigm like American companies. The true cause is a failed system that will fuck us up within the upcoming decades. Just recently, a group of scientists from America adressed a letter to the public (especially politicians), warning them that climate change is real and that profit shouldn´t come before our environment. The BP desaster is nothing but a result of greed and the fast dollar. Instead of mentioning the real cause, Obama makes statements like how he´s gonna kick some asses.
