cacau is the only german player who immigrated past the age of five. you seriously wanna call boateng ghanaian, despite being born to a german mother in germany and spending his whole life in berlin same with özil, born in germany, grew up in the shithole of gelsenkirchen? klose/trochowski/podolski, who's parents immigrated for a better life within a few years of their birth?

You don´t have to act too self-convinced. You´re not playing against Ghana, Australia or England this time but against Argentina. Germany has a good team but not good enough to beat a team whose players provide individual quality. Whatever, we´ll see tomorrow.

That´s true but sometimes their far voyages are questionable. The last great German team that I remember is the one attending WC 1998 in France. That WC was also the last good one and I have to agree with hyperspace..... this is truly the most boring WC ever.
