Neither of them looked particuarly good in their warmup friendlies though I guess given the sheer weight of talent you would have to tip The Brits to take it. Could the USA pull another Portugal? Not likely and I dont see us even getting out of our group to be honest.

USA will qualify for the last 16, they have a strong side balanced with experience.

That is a tough one from a USA supporter but it will be difficult to keep pace with England and their experience. If we can contain Rooney we have a good shot at an upset. I will be happy with a tie. Originally Posted by JamesHunt

Even if the USA have no soccer tradition like England, I consider them a strong team. But the victory is English.
