the media people estimate that LeBron being New York based will translate into an extra $35 million of global endorsement deals.

And ask yourself this: If you're a 20 something wealthy superstar entering the prime part of your career, do you want to live in New York or Florida ?

FL... two words... NO WINTER... the man will be reaching the BILLION mark soon... 35 mill is shit for him... NY sucks balls... they haven't been relevant in 30 yrs whereas the HEAT won a championship a few years back have one of the 3 best players in the world AND have a Hall of Fame Coach/GM... NOT to mention Miami has plenty of marketing $$$ to offer and the cost/sqft on property in almost half the price of Manhattan... He'll get a 12k sqft apt over looking south beach for a quater of the price of living in a 2k sqft loft in soho... did I mention NY SUCKS!!!!!!!!!

Isn't "Pookie" Wade a free agent too?

Oh well, it doesn't matter. You can drool over superstars from now until whenever, but in the end, basketball is still a team sport. That's why Cleaveland isn't moving on. If the knicks think they can just go out & buy a winning team by plugging in somebody like Lebron, they're going to stay in the toilet.

Poor LeBron. And expert at coming up small in the playoffs, no matter how tall he is.

Miami's a shitty sports town. You guys have a good MLB team but you don't show up for Marlins games and the Heat was like 15th in home NBA attendance
yes, NY sucks but you won't find a more loyal fan base

did you say loyal... you mean as long as he/she/they are winning... NY is notorious for destroying players/teams who arent playing up to the city's high standards... yes, the Marlins dont get a lot of attendees b/c of the location of their park... hence the NEW park being built in the heart of downtown, ready for 2012... no issues with the Fins or Hurricanes though... this town is a football town... though recent talks with Riley, Wade and Lebron seem VERY promising... wow, Wade, James and Bosch... gimme da rings... we'll see what happens, gonna be very interesting!!
