MMA sucks
These guys are slow and cant throw hands.....there just glorified wrestlers.
I watch them punch and I am horrified...they just wing shots wildy leaving themselves wide open to be countered and knocked out which frequently happens.
I do however understand the appeal of it but I dont see the skills.
Oh...and they have no cardio...mainly because most of them are on steroids.

mma hater.
give it up man. mma is here to stay. if you only watch mma to criticize it, then you'll never enjoy it. as far as steroids go, mma is no dirtier than boxing. the whole reason mayweather wanted olympic style testing was because mosley admitted to being apart of the balco thing. margarito was busted for illegal wraps. fernando vargas turned into a fatass after he got busted for juicing. the list goes on and on. boxing has nothing to offer. other than pacman vs mayweather, name one other fight people want to see.

I've been raving about Machida ever since he knocked out Rich Franklin, so my pride is a little hurt, but if he had to lose to anyone, I can't complain with Shogun.

My 2 cents on Machida vs Rua2.
The swell of opinion and even the light the UFC cast him in in the pre-fight build up meant he was the moral victor even before he threw a single punch at Lyoto. Who does that play with? Both fighters to be honest, and imo, Lyoto looked beaten even as he walked into the ring. It was rushed, he had guys around him who we've never seen before. Everything seemed a little off. While Shogun went in with his chest puffed out and the crowd cheering him on.
Ok, nerdy analysis like this should be saved for another forum but UFC113 was one of the most interesting spectacles of 2010 for me.

Totally agree with u. I've been watching Machida since he was a chubby nobody and grew to like him, so seeing Shogun do that was amazing. Out of anyone handing Lyoto his first loss, glad it was Shogun.
Definitely. I called Stephens, Mitrione and Kos to win, but what was shocking as Mahcida's loss was to see Semtex's little freak out. No need for a head case like that in any sport. Embarrassing. And hopefully we can toss this whole Kimbo bullshit back in the train yard where it belongs.

I dont hate MMA.....Im happy slow white guys have something to do......
I just dont think normal heterosexual men want to sex men wrestling on the floor like that its not a good look.
One of the gym I go to has a TON of wannabe MMA guys in there and they hardly do ANY cardio.....
I think its because they use steroids...
And by the way boxing does WAY better numbers than MMA.

normal heterosexual men aren't into the ballroom scene either.
go down to american kickboxing academy and test their cardio.
that's true for single ppv events, but annually mma has surpassed boxing in overall ppv numbers. boxing only has only one more big ppv left, pacman vs mayweather. the ufc has at least 12 ppv's per year now. 2 ppv's this month alone. what does boxing have?
