"Do you remember V. P. Dick Cheney "
'YES, I DO. I use to call him 'TAINT'.
"Taint? Why did you call him that?"
'Because in every picture he was between Bush and Colin'

Rigor mortis is a temporary state, stiffs don't stay stiff forever.
Usually when a corpse is processed for viewing the body is altered to make it more eye-friendly. The mouth is wired shut so it can't fall open during the viewing or handling. The eyelids are sewn or glued shut. They probably put a stiff wire inside him to keep his head position still. Would have been simple enough to do.
As far as displays go its pretty tame. There's a monastery in, IIRC its in Italy, where the monks became so good at preserving corpses that they started putting them on display instead of burying them. People eventually caught on and started leaving wardrobe instructions with the monks so that their outfits will be changed periodically for special occasions and things like that as if the corpses were mall manicans. Imagine having that job.
And maybe its easier to withdraw from life
With all of its misery and wretched lies
If we're dead when tomorrow's gone
The Big Machine will just move on
Still we cling afraid we'll fall
Clinging like the memory which haunts us all
