Pretty disappointed with the party Thursday night. The girls basically all stayed together and only Holly danced. There were some cute Asian girls there but the atmosphere I feel is much better at Remix on Fridays. This was only the second time at Secret and just seemed like a regular bar to me where Remix has more of a party feel to it. Top it off with a bullshit $115 parking ticket for parking in a tiny area that said Taxi's only but sign was hidden behind the Con Ed truck that was parked there. The sign 5 feet in front of the Con Ed truck only said no parking 8am to 6pm and that was the sign I looked at when I parked. Little did I know just a few feet away from that sign was another that said Taxi's only and pointed to the corner. I parked between the truck and a Caravan. Fucking Manhattan with the bullshit parking. $115 is ridiculous, now I'm going to have to fight the ticket and hope the cop doesn't show up to court or at least hope they reduce it. Waste of a night!!

Hey Slinky, last time I was going to go you told me to find you since we never met. I asked Sunny but she said you weren't there. Maybe I'll meet you at a Friday party one night.

Flabby, I thought about going and taking pics of the signs but the taxi sign is clear enough to understand it was no parking except Taxi's from that point to the corner. I just hate when there are different signs on the same block only feet from each other and I only saw the other sign. I don't live in Manhattan and didn't realize how shitty parking rules are there. Where I live usually the signs are the same for the entire block, not just a portion of it. I will probably take pics anyway and fight the ticket. Were you there last night?
